Specialities

Specialising in Two Major Areas:
Urinary Incontinence
-
Stress Incontinence: urine leaks when you put pressure on your bladder by sneezing, coughing, laughing, or lifting something heavy.
-
Urge incontinence: you may experience an intense, sudden urge to urinate or you may need to urinate more often. It may be caused by various things.
-
Overflow incontinence: your bladder doesn't empty properly so you may experience frequent or constant dribbling.
You should see the doctor if the incontinence restricts your day-to-day activities or negatively impacts your quality of life
Benign Prostate Enlargement
The prostate is a walnut sized gland that sits below the bladder in men. It often becomes enlarged as men get older and this can cause some uncomfortable urinary symptoms, such as:
-
A frequent need to urinate, even at night.
-
A weak stream and dribbling at the end of urination.
-
Inability to completely empty the bladder.
-
Water infections.
If you experience any of these symptoms, you should discuss them with your doctor even if they don't trouble you. It is important to rule in or rule out any underlying causes for these issues.
